He was the son of Charles E. and Mary Elizabeth Biddle-com- e Eden. Buck grew up in Mammoth and Eureka. Utah. He married Joyce Taylor and was later divorced. He then married Irmina Gerten in Spangahleni, Germany. He enlisted in the US Air Force seiving his country proudly for 24 years retiring in 1972. During his tour of service he served in the United States. Korea, Okinawa, Philippine Islands, Vietnam, land and German. ThaiDur- ing his lour in Vietnam he was awarded the Bronze Star and the Air Force Commendation Medal. He was a member of the American Legion. Post 68, Spanish Fork, Utah. After retirement from the Air Force, he worked at the Tintic Mines and the Tooele Army Depot where he retired in 1993. He loved the outdoors, hunting and fishing--cspecialice fishing in Scofield with friends. The program allows individuals without a high school diploma to pass the GED (General Educational Development) Test and earn a GED certificate by studying at home. Lessons are broadcast several times a week on KULC, which is Channel 9 in most of the state of Utah. Enrollment in the GED on TV Program includes three workbooks that compliment the televised lessons, assistance finding additional help at local education programs, and online access to practice test questions.
