She was born March 19, 1922, in Fureka, Utah, a daughter of I lyruni Samuel and Joan Lord King. She married Bill W. Searle, June 27. 1941. in Provo. Utah. Their marriage) was later solemnized in the Munti I.DS Temple. He passed away November 17, 1991. Thelda was educated in Furc-k- a from schools, graduating Tintic High School. Sept. 20. 1921 to Kulon and Nellie Stickney Finch, lie was the oldest of three MarJean was hom in Provo. Utah. Nov. 23. 1926. She was the firstborn to Iris Moore and Arthur Lee Deuel. They recently celebrated their 5()lh wedding anniversary in June. George was a carpenter, farmer, miner; and operated D&G Auto sales until the time of his death. lie was a hard worker and good provider for his family. There wasn't anything he couldn't build or fix. I le built die home they lived in and raised their family. MarJean was a homemaker and loving modier. Her hands made many beautiful quilts, dolls, oil paintings and ceramics. She made the best homemade bread and cookies. They hodi loved hunting, fishing, traveling and camping. They loved their children and grandchildren. Mom and dad were lifelong members of die Fureka U.P.O.F. 711, Tintic Flks Lodge, they have served in many capacities in the past 42 years, donating dieir time and money. Recently diey enjoyed the association widi the members of the T.N.T. (Muzzle Loaders) Club. Three Juab County residents are dead and one remains in critical condition after a family was overcome by carbon monoxide fumes filtering through an ventilated propane improperly heater at (heir home, on Thursday night. The family's home, a cabin one mile south of Tintic Junction near Fureka. had been heated by a wood stove before (lie propane mechanism was installed. As our town begins to age and our buildings are slowly falling in around us. 1 see that our city lathers have a great awareness of (lie change. I see in these leaders, the same love lor the quality of life in Fureka as I do. They understand the city is in need of the attention that (his change has brought.
