Show Page Two - The Eureka Reporter - November 5, 1993 Obits Carroll H. Eggertsen Carroll Hatch Atwood Eggertsen, age 74, of Provo, died October 23, 1993 in Provo. LDS was the daughter of Theodore William and Ella Wignal Hatch. She was horn on July 13, 1919 in Silver City, Utah. At the age of 3, the family moved to Eureka. Utah where she attended elementary schools. At the age of 10, they moved to Provo where she graduated from Farrer Jr. High and Provo High Me", followed by benediction hy Debbie Allen. She School. After graduation, she worked for the Utah Power and Light Company. In 1941 , she moved to Pensacola, Florida to be married. In I94S, she and her family moved to Washapi Indian Reservation where the church welfare farm was located. She married Dean W. Atwood after returning to Provo in 1952, at Las Vegas, Nevada. In 1952, she became Office Manager for the Utah Valley Hospital. In 1968, after the death of her husband, she was employed for Berg Mortuary as In Administrative Secretary. 1971, she became employed by the City - County Health Department as Administrative Assistant. She was active in business and civic programs: Credit Women International 2 terms; served as President of the YWMIA for 2 years; Dance Instructor, Drama Director in MIA; Secretary of the Relief Society for the Lakeview 4th Ward. She loved golfing, sewing, dancing music and bowling. She is survived by daughters: Mrs. Gordon M. (Bonny Kay) Thornton of Las Vegas, Nevada and Mrs. (Patricia Tammy of Adams Lynne) Ogden; also eight grandchildren; one greatgrandchild and sister, Mrs. Ce-cil- e II. Taylor of Provo. Graveside services were held Thursday, October 28, 1993 at Provo City Cemetery. Court Report Sherry Nedreberg, who has held the position of Court Clerk since February 1991, is leaving to take a position with Zions Bank. Sharel Jones has assumed the position of Court Clerk this month. The hunting has produced an additional 3 citations for improper hunting procedures. Bud II. Nielson of Salt Lake City, David A. Peters of American Fork, and Daniel J. Price of Provo, were cited and paid their fines. Two citations were issued at the Little Sahara area for failure to pay day-us- e fees. Those cited and who have paid their fines are, Robert J. VanLeeuwen of Salt Lake City and Megan N. Holcomb of Taylorsville. One speeding citation was issued and the fine paid hy Nicole Taylor of Eureka. The trial of Randy B. Kelsey of Mapleton, took place this month and he was found guilty of public intoxication and was sentenced.
