Mr. and Mrs. Ted Johnson drove to Las Vegas for the weekend, where they met Mr. and Mrs. Steve Milne of Casa Grande, Arizona. It was a relief for the Eurekans to get out of the snow for a few days, and they also missed the Saturday blizzard. They returned home Sacremento they will return to their home in Anchorage, Alaska. They spent two weeks here with her sister, Mr. Dora Randle. They visited in with their Albuquerque, before daughter coming to Eureka. They have been in the states for the past few months. On Saturday afternoon Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Nash attended a luncheon in Lark given at the home of Mrs. Bernice Willie, for all the Grand Officers of O. E. S. Mrs. Florence Gillespie was in town on Tuesday visiting with her son and family, Mr. and Mrs. George Gillespie, and other relatives and friends. A belated word of the death of a former resident, John Baker, was received in Eureka this past week. He was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Lyman Baker, well remembered former residents of Eureka. He was raised in Eureka and was a graduate of Tintic High School. Mr. Baker died in December. Further information was not sent to Eureka. Mr. and Mrs. John Crawforlh Clearfield, spent last Saturday here with her mother, Mrs. Mary Newman. of The Morris Bushman family of Provo spent Sunday here with her father. Jack Andrew. Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Martin Fennell Mrs. Colleen Milne returned to her home in Garden Grove, Calif., last Friday, after visiting her for the past two weeks. She came to Eureka for funeral services for Mrs. Anna and remained for further visiting with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Paxman, and Mrs. Lila Cole. Her father drove her to the Salt Lake Airport. Mc-Done- ll, Mr. and Mrs. Dean Conover left on Monday for Sacramento, where they will spend time with his mother, Mrs. Wm. Conover and a sister, Reta (married name not given.) After a visit in entertained at dinner last Wednesday evening for Mr. and Mrs. Dean Conover, who were visiting here from their home in Anchorage, Alaska. They are former residents of Eureka. Others attending were Mrs. Dora Randle and Ray Hansen. Guests last Thursday at the home of Mrs. William Wirthlin were Mr. and Mrs. Jeoffrey Phillips of Bellflower Calif. They came to Utah for the LDS Conference and stopped for a short visit with Mrs. Wirthlin and Mayme. Mrs. Phillips is a niece of Mrs. Wirthlin.
