Show funeral services held on monday for mrs taylor 0 mrs jane taylor wife of bert taylor a well known resident ot of eu reka died last friday evening within a few hours after her arrival at one of the salt lake hospitals where she had been sent tor for treatment the remains were brought back to eureka and the funeral services were conducted from the L D S church in this city on monday after noon bishop finch presiding and the other speaker being john 0 freckleton the invocation was by E W redmond and the closing prayer by d M D hiatt musical num bers were by the choir and by a quartette composed of frank gar rity elbert beesley ralph firth and M D hiatt the pall bearers were james taylor george brewster it rank taylor john campbele Camp belf oscar doyle and matt laird at the cemetery a selection was rendered by a mrs joseph frisby mrs joseph buys frank garrity and peter hood the grave was dedi bated by heber jones the services were attended by a large number of friends many of whom sent floral offerings mrs taylor was born at homans ville a few miles to the east of eu r reka eka a little more than forty years ago her parents being pioneer resi rest dents of this district her entire life was spent in eureka she Is survived by her husband and two daughters aged 6 G and 10 years her mother mrs mary gardner by brothers and sisters and other re as well as a large circle of friends mrs taylor taylors a health had been in rather serious condition tor for several years and tor for a month previous to her death the attending physicians held out but little hope tor for her re covery As a last resort it was de aided to send her to salt lake tor for an operation but she passed away before such treatment could be ad ministered the sympathy of eureka people Is extended to the husband and ahli dren to the mother and to various other relatives |
