S Hansen Democratic candidate for the year 4 county commission post was born at Milburn 44 years ago and grew up there and at Fairview He Heis Heis Heis is a son of Nels and Estella Stewart Hansen He married Ruby Tucker of Fairview in the Manti ManU Temple and they have two sons Gerald 23 who is serving with the Air Force in Alaska and Larry 15 who attends North Sanpete Hi High g h School and a daughter Dixie 19 who is a student at S Snow now College Mr Hansen has been very active in both civic and church affairs He is a past president of the Fairview Junior Chamber of Commerce and was chosen one year as the community's outstanding young man He served as mayor of Fairview for eight years and is at present pr president of the Li Lions ns Club there He is president of the Sanpete Association Incorporated Incorporated Incorporated which group is interested interested interested inter inter- ested in getting more water for forthe forthe forthe the valley with special emphasis presently on the Gooseberry project He has served as county chairman chairman chairman chair chair- man of the Democratic p party He owns the Skyline Motel and the Hansen Lumber Co at Fairview Always active in the Church he has served as president president president pres pres- ident of the Elders quorum su superintendent superintendent superintendent su- su of the and andis andis andis is presently a a member of t the h e bishopric in the Fairview North Ward He is interested in Sanpete County and wants to help get and keep industry here Always a booster for Sanpete he is interested in interested interested in- in in anything that will help the county and its people |
