Show attend rites in Idaho a Hilmer Kilmer and Ida Bailey Peterson Peterson Peter Peter- son and Freda Bailey Rasmus- Rasmus sen were in Rexburg Idaho March 1 for the funeral of a cousin Clara Frandsen Bailey widow of Alfred Bailey Jr Jr Mrs Bailey was born in Eph Ephraim raim Sept 2 1890 to Mr and Mrs Christian Frandsen and spent her early life here She died February 27 at Rexburg She was married to Alfred Bai Bailey ley Jr Jr and they were the parents parents parents par par- of fl five ve sons and a daugh daugh- ter Mr Bailey died several years ago Her survivors include a daughter Mona Bailey Taylor Blackfoot five sons Udale and Garth Rexburg Jack Cody Wyo Clair Thornton Idaho and LeRoy Salt Lake City 22 grandchildren several great great- grandchildren and one sister year old Lena Andreasen Orem Four of Mrs Baileys Bailey's grandsons grandsons grandsons grand grand- sons and a nephew took part partin in the funeral service The five sons and a son-in-law son Russell Taylor were pallbearers The funeral was held in the Lyman Ward chapel and burial was Inthe in inthe inthe the Lyman Archer-Lyman Cem Cemetery tery The Petersons and Mrs Ras- Ras mussen left lell Ephraim In stormy weather at noon Sunday and it took them seven hours to go from Brigham City to Pocatello having to drive very cautiously on account of weather and road conditions They arrived at Rexburg at 10 am a.m. Monday and visited with the sons daughter and grandchildren until time of the funeral They also visited a short time with Mrs Elmo Ha Hazel zel ml Peterson They report that all five of the Bailey Dailey boys had military service Glen LeRoy being a prisoner of the Japanese Japa Jan Jannese Japanese nese along with Cannon Ras- Ras mussen and Arlo Nuttall of Ephraim in the same samo camp Returning home the Ephraim folks visited with Mrs Andreasen Andrea- Andrea sen In Orem She is also a sister sister sister sis sis- ter of the late Mrs I.
