Show Funeral Services Held For Edward Thomson Funeral services for Ed Edward Edward Edward Ed- Ed ward George Thomson were conducted Monday afternoon in the Ephraim North NorthWard Ward Vard Chapel by Bishop Max W W. Craner Mr Thomson 71 died at a Mt Pleasant hospital hospi hospi- tal Friday after a long ill ill- ill ill- ness He had been a semi invalid at his home from heart trouble and complications complications complications for several months He was born May 23 1891 in Glasgow Scotland son of George and Matilda Bigger Thomson He came to America America Am- Am erica when about 14 years of age settling first in Canada before moving to Salt Lake City where he had resided before moving to Ephraim about 5 years ago He had worked as building engineer in the Walker Bank Building Building Building Build Build- ing and at Kearns He married Elizabeth Skene November 11 1916 in Salt Lake City He was a member of the Presbyterian church Survivors include his wi wi- wi dow and one son Gordon Thomson Ephraim eight grandchildren and two great great- grandchildren Preliminary and postlude organ music at the funeral was played by Armada B B. B Cox who also accompanied the choir directed by Melba K Armstrong which sang Some Sometime Sometime Sometime time Somewhere Well We'll Understand Understand Un Un- and nd I Need Thee Evry Hour Other music was a vocal solo Beyond the Sunset by Bishop Lawrence LawrenceR R R.
