She spent many years in Washington in-Washington as an employee ic of the U U. S S. Treasury Depart- Depart t.- t. r ment Before going to Washington Miss Thompson taught school from 1912 to 1930 1030 in schools in Ephraim and in the Jordan s r Granite districts She and her J sister Gladys f r owned owne-d a nice apartment in ink k Washington and their mother ft i f spent considerable time with j r fr f them there They retired in I M 1955 and returned to Ephraim where they built a lovely new s home across west from thet the the- t t.
