Marlene Curtis Mervyn Richard Jones Roger and Delores Curtis of Orangeville are announcing the forthcoming marriage of their daughter Marlene to Mervyn Richard Jones, son of the late Donald and Mary Jones of Wales, U.K. Marlene has been teaching at East Elementary in Roosevelt. She is a graduate of Emery High School, Snow College and Southern Utah University. She served a mission in the Indiana Indianapolis Mission. Mervyn works for the Kelloggs Corporation. On Aug. 20, Jordan Gee, 14, of Ferron, was out for a fun round of golf with his friend Nathan Sorenson, who witnessed the feat. Gee teed off on the par three hole with his six iron for the 1 50 yard drive from the white tees. We go golfingas often as w'e can, said Gee, "although 1 havent golfed as much this summer as last summer." Gee is in the ninth grade at San Rafael Junior High.
