On Nov. 1 2, 1 3 and 1 4 Jamie Jeffs, Suzanne sitterud, Lynnsy Slanina, Adam Thomas, Harmony Curtis and Mrs. On Nov. 3 and 4 the FFA went to the elementary schools with Food for America. board for helping us attend this convention. events in DeOur cember include: visiting the people who live at Tumquist Retreat in Elmo; up-comi- participating in the Parade of Trees in Salt Lake City on Dec. 4; spending a day at the Castle Valley Center on Dec. 17 and doing service projects and as- sisting in the classroom, therapy room and giving work- shops; doing a book drive to collect books for people in institutions. Jorgensen attended the National Cluster Meetings in Boise, Idaho. We learned a lot of leadership skills that we have brought back to our chapter. Adam Thomas, Jamie Jeffs, Suzanne Sitterud, Lynnsey Slanina and Chelsea Curtis prented a workshop on Champions Challenge. We challenged chapters to participate in this program to raise the membership in their chapters. Harmony Curtis participated in the general and clsing sessions, did workshops and a session with the national director of FHA We would like to thank the school they wrestled well and came out victorious. At San Rafael on Nov. 19 the also did great. Way to go Cougars. The next meet will be against Mont Harmon at 2:30 at Canyon View. On Nov. 12 Lloyd Newell was at the school and gave an inspiring speech on Staying Up in Spite of Downs. City offers Yule star Orangeville Beautification Committee is sponsoring a Star Festival for the community in connection with the Christmas season. Stars have been made by the committee and may be purchased at the Orangeville City Hall, beginning Wednesday, Nov. 23, and continuing until Dec. 23. He was an excellent speaker who spoke on issues and decisions facing both youth and adults. He also spoke on commitment, responsibility and making decisions that would contribute to a happy and successful life. We also attended workshops on many teenage problems we face today like date abuse, consumer scams, birth defects, living with the result of your choices and career decisions. We also listened to a teen pregnancy panel. This panel of young women shared their experiences as teen mothers, including keeping or adopting out their babies.
