By this children, mother had a great deal of work to do, doing all the work incident to a pioneer home, besides she would cord wool and spin yarn- for others, taking in return homespun cloth and other things she could use. From Orderville, they moved to Castle valley, settling at what is now known as Emery. We called it the Muddy Creek. Here they helped to build the ditches to take the water out on to the thirsty land, and began farming and cattle raising once more. We moved here in the year 1885. He lived on the Mudon dy creek until bis death March 6, 1901, and was buried in the little cemetery of the town then known as Casper. Mother then drifted around with this married child and that child until her death at Cleveland, Utah, where she was buried. She could still cord and do all kinds of work until very near the last. Their lives are one great example of the precious pioneer spirit, always ready to face the tasks before them, always ready to push- on to the new frontier, to establish and maintain that precious part of freedom. Always ready to serve the God who was calling them and giving His untold blessings of a heritage in His kingdom. by Squier BAWTH ST IN S DEUCE O DESERT!
