At the state convention candidates for the following offices will be nominated: United States senator, governor, justice of the supreme court, secretary of state, attorney general, treasurer, auditor, superintendent of public Instruction and four presidential electors. The convention will also elect a new state committee. The business to come conventions before the congressional will be the nominating of a congressman from each of the two districts and the election of congressional committees. The Salt Lake theatre has been engaged as the scene of the state convention. The convention of the First Congressional district will convene at the Hotel Utah, and that of the Second district will be held at the Newhouse hotel. The call specifies that the basis of representation shall be one delegate for each 100 votes or major fraction thereof cast for Nephl L. Morris for governor in 1916. This brings the total of delegates entitled to attend the conventions to 507. One set of delegates will he privileged to serve for both and congressional conventions.
