Henry Thompson has been named as food administrator for Emery county and will, without a doubt, give excellent excel-lent satisfaction as he is a man in whom everyone has confidence. Mr. and Mrs. Francis E. Denison, who have been visiting with relatives In Castledale and Orangeville, will be visited each week in the future by the Progress at their Sunnyside home. The Primary fair held Wednesday was all that we promised it to be and then some if all reports were borne out. Some splendid work was shown as products of the nimble fingers of ! the little folks. Nephi L. Williams .has been named to represent Emery county on a committee com-mittee which has for its purpose the inauguration in-auguration of an auto express and freight service to relieve the steam roads. The move is being inaugurated inaugurat-ed by the State Council of Defense. The Sunday school officers and teachers tendered Supt. B. W. Dalton a reception Tuesday night and the officers of-ficers and teachers of the Primary did likewise "for Mrs. Dalton at the home of Mrs. Andrew Larson Wednesday night. Orson P. Madsen, county farm i agent, is spending his vacation in San Juan county, accompanied by his family. fam-ily. He will enjoy a week's chicken shooting and take in the dry farms while down there and will sample the Green River melon patches on his way I back.
