It is exported that about 150 new s'uilents will register when the iiuarter ut begins. There will he several new enurses offered at the University this winter. Im hups the most attraetive group of classes will be cundurted by the Department of Archaeology under the direction of Assistant 1rofessor Andrew A. Kerr. Professor Kerr spent the (Treater part of the summer aid! a good part of the fall gathering data for these classes. A course , which (lives a brief history of the Archaeology and Ethnology of North, Middle, and South America, and a course in the study of the Middle American civ- ilization particular attention being laid to the civilization of ihc Aztec and Mayan Tribes will be offered by Professor Kerr. At the end of the Autumn quarter last yar there were 2."K5 resident collegiate student a registered at the University. At the end of the fall quarter this year there were 22.r! resident collegiate students. This figure does not include 150 via'ational men who were at the University last year, so in reality there are more resident collegiate students this year than there were the previous year. This registration with hifrhcr entrance requirements and more ritrid scholarship standards is an excellent indication that the young men and women of Utah are anxious to obtain a higher education. For Heating Or Cooking KING COAL Is Best For heating it is best because it burns freely, yet lasts longer than ordinary coals and gives an even and intense heat. Compared with other coals, you will say it leaves almost no ashes. For cooking it is the ideal fuel quick, hot and long burning just right for a quick frying fire or for longer, st eadier, baking or roasting fires.
