Show I Tuesday, March 5, 1957 THE DRAGERTON TRIBUNE Page Twelve Holy Name Society Boxing Results At the regular monthly meeting of the Holy Name Society of the Good JShepheitl "Parish on Sunday, March 3, 1957, several new faces were noted. Marshall Jim Eaquinto had the men stand up and speak for themselves. Thus introduced were Tom Ryan, son of Jim Ryan, Past President of the Society, and Ramon Lopez. Ramon may be new to some of the members but he and his wife have been assisting in Parish work for a number of years. A most hearty welcome was extended to both Tom and Ramon. President Rados said that no meetJohnny ing should ever be held without having at least that many new members added to the Roster. Henry T and Jakie didnt say anything that was audible- but everyone knew, just by looking at them, that they had things upstairs. As was the custom last year, the Societys Annual Communion Breakfast is slated for Palm Sunday, April 14, 1957. Several outstanding lay speakers were mentioned for the occasion. President Johnny will no doubt have the answer come next meeting daete. Here and now we shall pass along a hint to both old and new members that this date should be held open as a MUST. Besides enjoying a good breakfast, amidst most congenial surroundings, .there is always a choice message given out by the speaker that will be of untold benefit to each and every member. Man oh man! The officials at out meeting today were hot indeed. Many ideas and plans for the future were handled and another Social for tehe Holy Name men, and their wives, was set for Sunday, March 24, 1957, at 4:00 p.m. The talented members of the Society will bring their musical instruments so not a dull moment is to be the order of the day. Food will , be supplied on the same basis as the first affair each member to bring what he and his wife prefer; this will be added to the others share so the table "will be sagging with tasty morsels awaiting the selection of all. Although Dominic was not present at this meeting, four or five members in attendance assured all that Dominic would not fail in his duty. The men will not only prepare and serve the Breakfast, but will also clean up ethe kitchen, et al, afterward so you can see that the project must be similar to such as only Texans would even think about.
