Local Sunday School Makes Contest Bid The Dragerton Community church Sunday school has entered a district wide attendance contest which will run from March 3 to April 21, The local school will be in competition with about 30 other schools in Christian and Alliance churches Missionary throughout California, Neveda, New Mexico and Utah. The contest is to be judged upon attendance increases with awards to be made for both numerical and percentage increases. Dragerton won third place in, a similar contest in 1955. During the recent deeper life series of meetings 24 people professed receiving salvation and a number were healed. Butler, Senior Army Advisor to Utah Army Reserve ' units, announced today that the Army Reserve has been authorized by the Department of the Army to accept enlistments of young men 17 up to age 25 under the provisions of , the Armed Forces Reserve Act of 1955. Previously, only young men from age 17 to 186 were given the opportunity of joining the Army Reserve, serving six months d of active duty and obtaining status.
