The car, a Ford station wagon, was owned and driven by Wes Jensen ef Price. The driver and five riders did not see the diesel engine and three empty railroad cars until seconds before the impact' The engine was dropping three empty cars down the tracks. The end railroad car struck the automobile and carried it 50 feet, wedging it between the empty cars and some loaded cars on the next track. By trie time the engine pulled the empty cars back, the car was completely'' demolished byt none of the men were huri. Mr. and Mrs. W. W. Follis, Woodrow, Jr., and Sharon left Sunday for Sulphur Springs, Texas. On their way down they will make several stops in New Mexico and Texas to visit relatives. They will spend most of their time in Turkey, Texas, and Sulphur Springs visiting their parents, Mr. and Mrs. S. M. Folks and Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Boatman. They will return m about a week. Mr. and Mrs. LeGrande Graham were business visitors in Salt Lake from Tuesday to Thursday of last week. When they returned, Mr. Graham went to Denver by train to see his brother, Bob, who is. seriously ill. LeGrande brought him back to his home in Provo and he is soon to be operated on. Pat Graham, Pat Morgan and Shirley Davis of Sunnydale and Sally Buffmire of Dragerton mo tored to Salt Lake and back Thursday of last week. It was a shopping trip. Mr. and Mrs. Steven St. Clair and family have bought them a home in Dragerton. They have lived here for the past five years Mr. and Mrs. Dean Marshall, two daughters and son and Mrs. Lee Marshall of Idaho Falls, Idaho, and Mrs. S. W. Marshall of Price visited at the Tom McCourt home over the week-enThey arrived Saturday and stayed until .. .. Tuesday. . Ensign David T. and Mrs. Avery and small son, David B. of San Diego, California, are visiting his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Vern Avery, They arrived Wednesday of last week and will stay until Tuesday. On their way back to California they will visit relatives in Provo, Salt Lake City and Logan. Ensign Avery is with the navy and has been stationed in San Diego for 16 months but is to be transferred to Alaska in May. This is their first visit home since travel back and forth with others who are now living in Price and employed in East Carbon. It was illustrated by songs consisting of a quartet by Mr. and Mrs. Richard Roberts and Mr. and Mrs. Harold Anderson and duets by Clea Larson and daughter, Marion ,and Mrs. Ruth Jenkins and Mrs. Jean Bowden.
