A 1941 Ford club coupe driven by Don Hamilton struck the rear of a truck which was stopped on the highway to get the windshield wiper adjusted. The front of the Ford was completely wrecked, hospitalizing the occupants, Don Hamilton and Dale Holyoak. Hamilton suffered a broken nose and Holyoak a broken jaw and bruised leg.
