INSULATION Three of. the teachers of the Dragerton schools this year have received masters degrees from the University of Utah at the end of the summer quarter of school. Mrs. Monroe, who has been a teacher in the schools at Dragerton was granted a masters degree in education after successive' summer quraters spent at the state institution for the training of teachers. Much of the research work for her. thesis was done at our local school with cooperation from other teachers. The title of the thesis is Social Relations in a First Grade Program. Mrs. Monroe taught in the schools of Salt Lake City for ten years previous to her coming to Dragerton where she has taught for six years. Mr. and Mrs. Glade Anderson both of whom received their masters degrees this autumn from the University of Utah are new teachers at Dragerton. Mrs. Anderson is the former . Miss Olive Benedict of Helper, She taught in the Helper schools at one time. A number of East Carbon teachers have reached B. S. degree status during the past summer and many others have done college work in considerfble amounts to raise their abilities as teachers.
