On hand to help in the dedication will be Harold N. Wilkerson0f Salt Lake representing Governor Lee and Attorney General Clinton Vernon. Many other dignitaries from various junior colleges and state officials will be here. The stadium and field were completed for this year. Mesa will be the first opponent to play in the new gridron. Arrangements have been made to make this one of the finest programs in many years. Carbon College is reputed to have a strong team with 12 reIn addition turning veterans. many high school stars from Carbon and other high schools will be on hand and see plenty of action. Among the East Carbon boys playing will be Jim Murphy, Martin Rodash, Manuel Abeyta, Clive Blondie Peterson, Dave Faddis, Lamar Junie Lindsay, Max Nelson and Darrell Crawford. In order to get the season off to a rousing start and to show the East Carbon fans just whos who at Carbon College the Dragerton Theatre will stage a big rally on Wednesday night at 8:15 p. m. All the East Carbon boys will be there together with many of the other stars. It was one of the largest crowds to attend a dance in Dragerton for many months. The Rotary club wants to thank the community for their patronage. The entire proceeds will go toward building costs ,of the Youth Building. Work keeps moving in the East Carbon Park area. Still more cement is being poured for the basement area. The instructions will be given when 'the lanes are not in use so that there will be privacy while learning the fundamentals. The management of the Sunnybowl state that they do not as yet know many of the people in East Carboy and hence would like the people desiring to bowl to contact, them. It is difficult to contact everyone personally so the management would like for you to come in and see them about getting into a league. The building which the Utah Fuel company made available to the Eastern Utah Rifle association is beginning to take on a sportsman aspect. The building needed reroofing, new lighting fixtures, necessary to barricade the end and to erect a shooting platform. All alterations were made according to National Rifle association regulations. The material for the improvements were donated by the Utah Fuel company with members of the Rifle clubdoing the laboring., . . On Wednesday, September 14, the club will hold a general house cleaning.
