Two floats from Dragerton were entered with the H Club winning third prize money of $20.00. The girls really worked hard on their float and spent considerable money to make it a very lovely float indeed. Then the entire Dragerton clan went up to the park to participate in the 100 cases o? beer, 900 sandand 50 wiches, 2000 cases of pop. Everything was cleaned up. Among the speakers in the afternoon was our good friend, Doc Colombo, who passed out a few words of wisdom. During the afternoon the Boy Scouts won $30.00 prize money for first-ai- d demonstration. However the girls proved to be foi the outstanding first-aidethey took away $60.00 on points for their very capable performance. Ball games, swimming and other activities were indulged in during the day. The committee topped off their program with a banquet given by the Central Labor Tf of various committees that make these Labor Day Celebrations possible. The remainder of the folks fin- bed off their day with a very fine dance given at the local school auditorium.
