It lost again Lafeen, Kezerian and Tarver once again produced singles wins but the Storm only grabbed one out of three double matches that prevented it from beating the Silverswords. The loss to Midwestern State University from Wichita, Texas, had the same lopsided score as the ii match, but the Lady Red Storm exhausted some good battles with the Mustangs. Lafeen pushed her match to a 3 loss, and Kezerian played in an extended match contest with Lindsey Holcomb. Kezerian won the first set and then fell short with a 6 and Red Storm freshmen Holm and Davis are handling the brunt of playing the No. 1 and 2 singles matches. Pelton said the two are handling the responsibility well as first year players. Alicia and Adrienne havent necessarily pulled out wins but they have been doing well at competing hard, Pelton said. Lafeen said the team is better this season and she looks forward to get ting wins against some PacWest opponents. I feel very confident; I think that we have a great shot this year at beating teams that we couldnt beat in the past, Lafeen said. The team will host Southern Utah University on Saturday.
