WEDNESDAY, MARCH 23, 2005 CEU sends Rebels home early from SWAC tournament BY SI(K)A RIPLEY Dixie Sun Sports Editor As the Lady Rebels headed to the SWAC tournament in Southern Idaho, they spotted a familiar-lookinbus heading in the opposite direction., the Dixie State College mens basketball team already heading home. It was a short tournament for the Rebels. DSC had won the previous four SWAC championships and gone to the NJCAA national tournament g three of those years. They even a national championship. Eastern Utah put an end to that trend CEU defeated the Rebels The Rebels controlled the first half for the most paid. At one point the Rebels were up as many as 13 points, but the Golden Eagles closed the gap won 74-6- to 32-3- 0 with a run before the end of the half.
