Also on Tuesday at 7 pm, Republican James Hansen and Democrat Steve Beierlein held a debate of Utah's First Congressional District. The debate which was sponsered by Dixie College and KUED-Twas open to the public and was held in the Fine Arts Theatre. Wednesday evening, at 6:30 pm, the forensics team hosted a Knowledge Bowl and a parliamentary style debate in the Dunford Auditorium. The debate was over the feasability of Dixie College as a four-yeinstitution. Many classes offered extra credit for attending the class. Student participation was lowbut those that did had an enjoyable time. A speaker's forum was Thursday at 6:30 pm in the Dunford Auditorium. Various political leaders spoke on a variety of subjects.
