Individuals wishing to apply for the program can obtain an application in the I iome Economics Building, Room 131 or one can be mailed upon request by calling Prerequisites for the LPN program can be filled after applying for the program, but the class requirements must be met before entering the program. Upon completion of the requirements, the core nursing program will require three quarters of classwork after which students will be eligible to take the examination for the Licensed Practical 652-786- Nurse Licensure. Completed applications are filed in chronological order and placement in the program follows accordingly. Applicants who have not met all prerequisites or who haven't been accepted to Dixie College will be sent letters of notification with deadlines to meet the requirements. If students fail to meet the deadline or contact the nursing program office, their applications will be sent to the end of the line, Tipton said.
