Student art show held By Melissa Johnson Sun Staff Writer Art students at Dixie College had a chance to display their artistic abilities in the Graff Fine Arts Building May On May 8, a reception was held to celebrate the works of art created by the students. There were six categories in which the art students entered their woric. The categories were bronze, oil painting, water color, pencil, pastel and photos. Placing in the bronze work category was Randy Fullbright. For pencil , Dave Keyfanver took first place, Dan Gubler took second, Adam Seltzer took third and Pamela Koldewyn took fourth place. In Uie water color categories, the winners were respectively Rob Reitano, Wallace Lee, Evelyn Hughes, BrianTatton and Donna Beard. For their pastel work, the winners were Wallace Lee, Ilona Terry, Suzette Ostler and Sally Duff. The winners in oil painting were Geraldean Jones, Bette Spilsberry, Norma Dixon, Ilagene Sargent. In the photo category, the winners were David L. Ziegler and Melinda Placock. Altogether, there were 123 entries in the student art exibition. "The art is really good this year.
