Neil is serving his 3rd term on the City Council, and is a member of the Don's and Elk's clubs. He serves on the Dixie College Institutional Council. He and his wife have been married for 37 years. They have two daughters and one son. Loren also has been an active member of the Lion's Club. He was the first commander of Veterans of Foreign Wars. Together with his brother, he has sponsored, coached, and refereed many Little League teams and games. Being an outdoors man he loves horses and spends much of his spare time at his cabin, which he built. He is responsible for putting up the first score boards at the Sun Bowl, which are still in use.
