The First Act is adapted from Mark Twains's "The Diary of Adam and Eve," and a de- presents lightful, touching, and humorous version of the well known Biblical tale. Act Two is based on the "The Lady or the Tiger," in which a princess must determine whether Frank Stockton story, to feed her love to a beautiful lady or a hungry tiger. The Third Act is a version of Jules Feiffer's story, "Passionella," which in turn is adapted from the famous Cinderella Fairy tale. All acts relate to the theme of "The Apple Tree," the foibles of men and women in love. The play will be a double cast touring performances may be arranged, following presentation at Dixie, giving many students an opportunity to perform. A musical combo will be utilized, rather than a full orchestra, to facilitate touring performances.
