Anyone interested in being a member, please come to the meeting1 Representatives Irom vanous branches of the armed services will be on the Dixit Campus on February the 9th from p.m. to 3 p.m. They are prepared to answer questions and discuss opportunities within their respective areas. Dixie College will host thess military representatives and also the senior boys from Dixie, Hurricane, and Enterprise High Schools. Promoting wholesome out- side exercise through the use of bicycles, the club under the leadership of Craig Evers presently planningclub trips to Washington, Veyo, Pine Valley, and Zions National is Gaurd; Jack Sheen recovers the ball from the B.Y.U. Frosh, in Dixies 102 - 98 Victory over the Cougars!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Moto-- X to Take Place On Saturday February the 13th the Dixie College AMS Council is sponsoring its 1st Classic. The annual Moto-AMS Classic is to be held near the Arizona Strip. Registration for the event will begin today and run through 1:30 Saturday afternoon the 13th. Saturdays registration will begin at the course :00 a. in. For early at about registration please contact Pat Hamilton at the Liberty Hotel, Wally Warren at the St. George Motel, and Blake Bell at Shiloh Halls. Entry fees for the contest will be $2.50. The course will cover .6 miles with six heats lasting for a 10 lap duration. There will be three classes; 1 ) 1 25cc and under, 2) 125cc 175cc, and 3) 175cc and up. A helmet and goggles are required of all entries along with a release form which can be obtained upon time of entry. The top 3 finishers in each class will be awarded prizes for their efforts. TWO TEAMS TIED FOR SOUTHREN Park. The club will meet every Monday at 3:00 p.m. under of a well known guidance outdoorsmen and teacher, Mr. Lorraine Woodbury. Offering a free sales agency, the bicycle club will help you sell or buy a used bike or parts. Charging no membership fees, membership will be Spanish Rise and Shout, the Cougers Bombed out! The Dixie Rebels played an excellent ball game here Saturday night by downing the Freshman Brigham Young team 102 - 98. Hal Hamblin played a great game for Dixie as he lead the 1 Rebels scoring attack with 27 points. Jack Sheen and Brent Atkin were close behind with 23 points each. The rebels were down 54 to 50 at the half, but the battles back to take a 78 - 73 3rd quarter Dad Knight and Hamblin did an excellent job of holding down the Ys big 7 foot Center -to only 19 Steve Lackey lows: General Assembly in the Nona p.m. to Gymnasium from 1:35 p.m. points. 1 restricted to those making two or more fun field trips. The Establishment and the Ghetto both having identical were the Southrecords of ern legue leaders. One half game back were the undefeated No Names with a record The Turtles and Couof gars were tied for third, one game out of first place and The boasting records of Men with a record were knotted in fourth with the Liberty Lazers boasting a record. Both teams were lz games out of first place. Rudys Riders were alone in fifth place with a record m 0 2 and 2 games away from first. for in The Hands still looking their first victory were sixth, 2Vi games back in standings with a record of Both the Rockets and House were both contending for the Northern League fifth place.
