Any person who will attend Dixie College next year, has maintained a 2.5 grade average, is familiar with the school constitution, and is willing to devote his time and talents to school leadership may apply. Officers to be chosen are the studentbody president; the vice president of social activities, who will head the Sociability Committee; the vice president of cultural activities who will direct the assembly program; the AWS president; and the AMS president. Contrary to tradition women students as well as men may apply for the office of president. Students who will be Freshmen next year may run for any office but president; the studentbody president must be a Sophomore. High School seniors (especially those taking college classes on an accelerated program) should consider applying. How to Apply Application blanks will be available Monday. Fill out the application; have Mr. Smith sign to cerify a grade point average above 2.5; give the application to Dick Frei, Mr. Woodbury, or a member of the Executive Council before 5:00 Thursday, April 13.
