After changing a flat tire on the bus and leaving about a million of the girls purses behind we finally arrived in El Centro about 9:00 p.m. Saturday we journied across the border to Mexacali. Twas there we saw just how the Spanish people live, act, eat, and carry on their business WOW! Its a good thing most of us were citizens of the U.S., or at least said we were, right Judy? Saturday night was spent in San Diego and Sunday morning at the San Diego Zoo. This was one of the many highlights of the trip. In a the afternoon we shopped in and Sunday night went into Ensenada. Monday morning at 5:00 7 a. m. some of the kids, who didnt get in until 4 a. m., arose to go fishing. But really they didnt do any fishing, they just fed the fish with their eyes closed. Also on this day we visited with the Spanish vendedars in their shops, restaurants, and visited the schools and the beach. Nighttime was spent generally at the club (for information check with the boys). Also ask Judy Hansen if she is still a lover of snakes. Tuesday morning we left Ensen-at- a and headed back to the good ol U.S.A. We stopped off in Tiyuana again to shop and there we almost left three boys, didnt we Brent, Larry and Jim? That same day we headed for Disneyland, but our disappointment Mr. Disney had locked the gates for two days, so over to Long Beach to the Pike we went. That evening we lodged in San Berwin a honey-- ! nardino. Wednesday, 7 a. m., we again Las Vegas. broaded the bus and at 4 p. m. we arrived back in St. George. Although everyone was bushed and by now way behind in their lessons, the entire trip was a ball worthwhile and very interesting. 1959. Location Front of Science Bldg. Time 7:00 a. m.
