Show 5 VOLUME 10 Llii&M TUESDAY, APRIL 19, 1949 NUMBER 14 Jimmy Lundberg Elected Student Body President Jimmy Lundberg, of the B.V.D. (Bigger Visions for Dixie) party, was elected Friday as president of the student body for 1949-5with Lamar Fawcett of the Clock party gaining the post. The election was close, showing a large percentage of students voting. The B.V.D. succeeded in placing Bob McComb of their ticket to the office of Boys club Bernice Bentley as president. Girls club president and Whorton Allen and Bonita Tobler as commissioners of amusement of the Clock party won over Ua Stucki, Kennie Hafen and Ann Carol Chamberlain. Mary Hou Carter was defeated as A spirited campaign had been conducted during the week. A lot of pep was exhibited and the enthusiasm was confined to a high level of campaigning.
