Show DIXIE JOURNALISTS PAGE FOUR Y.A.A. Is Organized For Outstanding Work Year Once again, the W.A.A. (Wo- mens Athletic Association) is organized for what looks to be in-a really good year for those volved as well as the Wanda Hall was elected president; Lorraine Lytle, Erma Hafen, secretary; Ellen Cottam, intramural manager; Felice Lambson, assistant intramural manager; and Jeannine Harris, reporter. Team captains are: Charlene Gardner, Denise Law, Joy Vander Weyst, Dolores Foremaster, Grace Sullivan, and Lois Jean Pymm. These girls and their teams play every Monday and Wednesday during the noon hour. The volley ball tournament was over Monday, October 21st, with the following results: Wins Losses Team 0 5 Joy Vander Weyst 1 4 Charlene Gardner 2 3 Lois Jean Pymm 2 3 Dolores Foremaster 4 1 Grace Sullivan 4 1 Denise Law On October 23, Monday, Lois Jeans and Charlenes team went the rounds. But Charlenes team broke away from Lois Jeans and Also that day, Dolores won 13-Fore master and Grace Sullivan struggled for one more win, but Graces team finally won, Everyone is invited to come out and cheer for his favorite team. Notes On The Lamba Delt Wednesday, October 29, is the Lamba Delta Sigma Halloween party at 8 p.m. in the South Ward All members and all Chapel. pledgees are urged to be there. Dont forget Institute Sunday School, all you college kids. It is at 10:30 a.m. in the Institute. Lets see you there, now you know all about it. Lamba Delta Sigma pledging ceremonies for all prospective members, are to be held in the West Ward Chapel, November 2, Sunday evening. The Gama chapter of Lamba Delta Sigma held their annual election recently. Stanford Holt was elected president; John B. Cox, vice president; Clayton Atkin, secretary and treasurer; Wes Holt, chapter reporter. It was decided in the last meeting that future meetings will be under the direction of Mr. Bruhn. our chapter adviser, who will show slides and movies of the GAIETY Tuesday, October 28, 1947 CHATTER Utah canyons. All members are looking forward to an interesting and successful year. The officers of the Beta chapter of the Lamba Delta Sigma this year are: president, George Bob Pearce; Allen; secretary and treasurer, Robert Gardner; reporter, Marion Bentley; adviser, Mr. Corbett. Mr. Corbett and President Allen vice-preside- spoke on possible subjects for the years program. Members voted to discuss the two books; PersonalYour and ity and Etiquette Best Foot Forward.
