FRIDAY PROGRAM The Program Friday, Dec. 3, was given by the Red Heads. Despite the fact that there were some reflections cast upon certain members of the student body and faculty every body seemed to enjoy themselves. The program was as follows : 1 Introduction to program, Finley Judd. 2 Piano Solo, Clesta Worthen. 3 Tribute to Red Heads, Thelma Cottam. 4 A Reading Winnie Jones 5 Dantes Inferno a Drama, Glenn Graff and Bessie Atkin. 6 Song (Shine On) Audience and Red Heads. ATTORNEY HIGGINS VISITS ASSEMBLY Attorney Wm. B. Higgins participated in the Devotional exercises Thursday Dec. 2. He sang a Scotch song which was so heartily applauded he couldnt but respond with another. The encore was an Irish Lullaby. Mr. Higgins also read for us The Lost Word. His ability in dramatic expression is no less marked than his ability in vocal music. Mr. Higgins is one of Dixies native sons and we admire his attainments. ry ! DEBATING NOTES Two very interesting burlesque debates were given in chapel Friday Nov. 20. The questions were Resolved: That the Ford is an Animal and Resolved : That Forensic Debating Should Be Encouraged in the School. It was enjoyed by everyone, especially Mr. Nicholes, whose chuckle could be heard continuously. We only hope that the good work will continue so that we will have some well fought debates.
