NIGHT REBEL AWARDS The Dixie College Rebel night was held Monday, May 11 at 8 00 PM. It was a night to honor those students who have attributed high achievements and contributions to Dixie College this year. Awards were given to Scott Gentry, Music. Roxanne Schmidt, Literature, Sharon Shamo, Forensics, Kelly Larsen, Wayne, Debate. Social Science Awards were given to Hal Fout?, Political Science, James Brent Briggs, Geography, Larry Denham, Economics, Jeri Matthews, Future Teacher. Sociology A. Karl Larsen Award, Brent Goodwin, Physical Science Kerry Langston, Soph., Clayton Walquist, Fresh. CELIA COTTAM KIM HARTVIGSEN Trades and Industries Awards, Melvin Lloyd, Master Mechanic; Jerry Alldredge, Aviation Mechanics, Allison Anderson, Stewardess Training. Two Art Awards were given, Art Student of the Year, Nancy McFarlane, Art Painting of the Year, Lynn Bright. Drama were given to Susan Mem-mot- t. Theatre Service Award, Nels Carlson, Outstanding Student Theatre Award. The Home Economics Awards were presented to Carol Ann Barton, Outstanding Home Eco- nomic Student, Lynda Kirkham, Helen F. Hafen Weaving Award. Biological Sciences Award was given to Phil Andrus.
