Most of you have reflected, no doubt, upon your previous curricular and extracurricular activities, and I judge that many of you have resolved in one or more ways to improve your immediate future year. This is a mark of maturity. I To our many new students: greet you with a great deal of pleasure and antcipation. The nt-body will desire and encourage your enthusiastic support. May you have it in your hearts and minds to do so. You will have many problems confronting you. May I encourage you to approach each in its turn with determination and faith in its solution. Only by doing so will you truly mature. Remember this: My services and that of every other faculty member is available to you. Dont hesitate to seek us out whether you are plagued by personal, emotional, academic, or problems.
