The spirit was kept up throughout the week by posters, rallies, stunts, and dances. During the week many different types of horses were presented to the student body. Spark Plug was often portroyed as a fiery racer, while again as an unreliable animal with the Plebe Jebes. Zip gained fame and renown as a close competitor, alternately winning and losing races. The race closed Friday evening, the Spark Plugs winning the final score. The Campaign was characterized by the sportsmanship and by the wholesome, clever performances staged. The rallies were clean and exciting; Chapel was well utilized in speeches, stunts and similar performances. Many clever cartoons were displayed on the front doors and in the archway. Talent in argumentation was to be seen actively operating everywhere. When the ballots were counted, the Spark Plugs won by a very narrow margin, there being but five votes majority Laura 'Gardner are critic teachers, already anxious to meet the At the present time there are College trainers.
