Show Sept. :J Caplin to wed Washington County Queen ASDC President, Steve Caplin, and Washington County Queen, Toni Brooks, have chosen November 21 as their wedding date. ' As Dixie College students, both have been active in activities and academics. Toni reigned as Sweethearts Queen last February during LDSSA Sweethearts Week. She also served on various committees during the year including coming. and Home- m DIXIE SUN Page fj 3 W m Applications available for class officer candidates After returning from an LDS mission in Texas, Steve became active in politics and campaigned for and won the student vote to become this years studentbody president. He also served as Chairperson last Spring. The couple plan to continue attending Dixie, graduating at the end of the year. Class officer petitions are available in either Dean Iversons office or from ASDC Vice President Nick Frei. To run for office, a signed petition must be turned in to Dean Iverson before September 30 with a minimum of 25 signatures. P 1 m T 26, 1980 Any student applying must maintain a 2.5 GPA and fulfill the responsibilities of his office. Those wishing to run must do so as a party consisting of president, vice president and secretary. Primary elections will be held October 1 and 2. General elections begin October 6 and end October 8. Copies of entries should be kept as they cannot be returned.
