Bas-tia- n has, because of unforseen circumstances, been compelled to discontinue school. We regret this very much. Since he first came here three years ago, he has three times represented the Dixie in debate, and has always been a live wire. This year as chief commissioner, he demonstrated his ability to lead and serve the Student Body. Our best wishes for his future success accompany him. We feel certain that he will achieve. The Commissioner of Discipline, Howard O. Miller, is the officer who, according to the school Constitution, should fill the vacancy. Mr. Miller has already been accepted by the Student Commissioners and has assumed charge. PRESIDENT NICHOLES GOES TO SALT LAKE Recently President Nicholes made a trip to Salt Lake City.
