Show 16 The Dixie Owl, St. Oeorge, Utah Bleak, Clare Gates, Karl Larson, and Eldon Larson. Pres. Snow gave a short talk which was followed by a reading by Miss Marian Redd. The chorus sang, and the band furnished another selection. Then followed the competitive singing of the Dixie Marching Song. After the program, everyone went to the flat below to have lunch, which, as usual, was a treat after the long hike. Following lunch, competitive toasts to our Dixie School The were given. Louie Woodbury acted as College Class was represented by Leila Adair; the Fourth Years, by Hazel Bunker; the Third Years, by Louie Harris; the Second Years, by Helen Miles; and the First Years, by Vilate Roundv. Next came the competition in original yells and entertainments. Ribbons were given as prizes in the various competitions. A blue ribbon for first place, represented five points; a red ribbon, for second place, three points; a white for third place, one point. The different classes gained the following ribbons: Line up at the College First Year, blue; Second Yr. red; College, white. March to Hill College, blue; Fourth Yr. red; Third Yr., white. Stump Speech Fourth Yr., blue; Second Yr., red; College, white. College Song College, blue; Fourth Yr., red; Second Yr., white. Toast Fourth Yr., blue; First Yr., red; Third Yr., white. Yell Fourth Yr., blue; Third Yr., red; Second Yr., white. Entertainment College, blue; First Yr., red; Third Yr., white. Obstacle race Third Yr., blue; First Yr., red; College, white.
