Each team has played four games. The games are scheduled to be played at 6:00. 7:15. and 8:30 p.m. every Tuesday and Thursday. The nunilier of teams is now down to six after one team had to drop out liecause of the lack of players. The Dugway Mustangs regis- tered their third victory The Dugway Post Gyin is scheduled to reopen Monday with a whole new look. The Wasps were unable to gain and Dugway took over on their 30 yard line and drove for the first score in ten plays. Halfback Scott Palmer got five yards on a run. Three running plays gave the Mustangs a first down on the Juab 48. Then after R. Palmer gained two on a keeper the Mustangs went into their single back formation. R. Civilians (8) vs. Hospital (6) Neither the Hospital nor the Civilians had won a game prior to this contest In the first quarter Kirk Kelly intercepted a Hospital that had been batted into the air and ran the 1 yard for a Civilian touchdown. Mike Donnelly scored the extra point that proved to be the margin of victory. Joe Champagne scored the only Hospital touchdown on an 80 yard run but the extra point attempt was no good and the final' score was 6 for the Civilians. Golf tourney posts winners The Dugway Open Golf Tournament was held Saturday and Sunday, September 23 and' 24. Palmer passed to Donnelly good for 30 yards to the Wildcat 12 and theu the Wildcats were guilty of a face mask violation on the play giving the Mustangs a first down on the six. After Mike Harris had gained one yard and Mike Nerdin was stopped for no gain Palmer went to the air but passes to G. Harris and Donnelly were batted down by Wildcat defenders. The Mustangs could get no closer th&i the Wildcat 32 yard line in the first quarter as the S. Summit ground game gave them possession of the ball most of the final quarter. The losers were able to garner only 25 net yards rushing with Dee Shirts the leading bail carrier with 17 yards in nine attempts. R. Palmer hit on nine of 21 passes with Donnelly grabbing three for 74 yards, arid Scott Palmer three for 37. Meyer finished up the game with scoring tosses of 21 yards to ; Duggan, 1 yard to Moesenthin, and a 25 yarder again to Duggan. Then halfback Bill Crystal skirted his own right end for the touchdown. Houle's placement made it for the Mustangs at the end of the first quarter. The Wasps had one score called back in the quarter as quarterback Kim Sperry passed to wingback Kent Park for 44 yards, but the play was called back when Juab was detected holding on the play. The losers mounted the only threat in the second quarter as they moved to the Mustangs 24 before Gary Harris intercepted a paa and ran it back to his 25 yard line. It took the Mustangs eight plays to travel the SB yards for their final score late in the third quarter. The big gainer in the drive was a pas from Palmer to M. Harris good for 29 yards and a first down on the Juab 14-- 1 seven. Scott P. got five yards over his left tackle and Harris went over on the next play. Houle then added the final point of the evening. The winners pined 106 yards on the ground and added 137 through the air. Shirts was the leading ball carrier with 31 yards in eight carries. S. Palmer had 30 in nine attempts and Harris added 27 in 12 tries. R. Palmer hit on six of ten passes with Donnelly catching three for 57, M. Harris one for 29, S. Palmer one for 44 and C. Harris one for seven yards. The Wasps collected 98 yards on the ground and completed only four of 20 passes for --42 yards through the air. Defensively, the Mustangs were led by R.
