However, your job, be to learn what pollution is all about. Learn what the dangers are and be aware of what could happen to our country if pollution continues unchecked. Great! The facility is a pet ceme- tery. The cemetery resulted from the requests of several pet owners to have some type of facility for their animals. It was these requests, plus the fact that there is no place for pet owners to dispose of their dead animals, that led to the establishment of the pet cemetery. The graveyard, which is located on the crest of a small hill southwest of the animal clinic, is operated jointly by the Veterinary Animal Clinic and the Facilities Division who digs all of the graves. The animal burial ground is available for anyone on post, but owners of the pet must obtain permission from the post veterinarian before they can bury animals there. The primary reason for this is that there are certain specifications that must Ire met by the owners lrefore they can use the facilities. There is no cost involved for an individual to use the facility, says Captain Jerry Bell, coordinator of the project. The only cost incurred depends wholly upon the individuals and what they decide to do to the grave site itself. Many people for example, plant grass and flowers, build fences, and put markers on the grave. Complete blueprints of the cemetery is maintained by the Veterinarian Division.
