This, he added, will assist in stabi el ed . DOD Joins In Effort To Save Lives Two of DPGs men have been honored in a recent Scouter Convention held in Salt Lake City at Highland High School. Lowell A. Griffiths and Wendell S. White received die coveted Silver Beaver award which was presented by the Great Salt Lake Council, Boy Scouts of America on February 12. The award is the highest award presented by a local Scout council for recognition of outstanding service to youth of the community. Both men are members of the Troop Committee for Boy Scout Troop 481. In addition to the presentations of Silver Beaver Awards, Ashby Boyle, son of Doug Boyle, was honored at the meeting for his selection as nominee of the Youth American Award. Ashby has been an ardent worker in state and national campaigns, assisted in the March of Dimes campaign, was a youth leader in school and church activities.
