The big win gave the Mustangs their fourth straight win in league competition and improved their season record to 11 wins against three losses. IN WHAT was expected to be a close game the Mustangs moved out to an eight to one lead in the first three minutes and were never seriously threatened. Two baskets by Kevin Donnelly and one each by Randy Brown and Gary Ott provided this early lead.
