Secretary Weinberger concluded that he was impressed with the briefings provided by the Army on their methodology for reviewing the physical demands of Army jobs and the location for each of those jobs on the "battlefield. Althought he laws, DoD directive and federal regulations seem strict, they are not meant to take away your right to get involved in politics. They are meant to protect federal employees from political pressures and to do away with partisan politics at the work place. If you have any doubts as to whats allowed and what isnt, check with your personnel officer or legal officer before getting involved.
