Joining Mrs. Westwood on the week's agenda will 17-2- 1. Westwood be Dr. Ramona Adams, Dean of Student Affairs at the University of Utah; Frances Williams. Hemphill, Federal Women's Program Coordinator for the Department of the Army; and Shauna Adix, Women's Resource Center director at the University of Utah. Westwood, Jean of the Democratic National Committee, worked in politics at the grassroot level for a long time in her home state of Utah before going to Washington to fulfill her responsibility in the highest position ever achieved by a woman in politics. MRS. WESTWOOD was on the staff of Congressman David King of Utah, and was a delegate to the 1964, 1968 and 1972 conventions, serving on the platform committee tem, working not only in the party but with youth groups at the universities as well as running the educational program at Utah's Girl's State. IN THE 1972 presidential contest she acted as a coordinator on the Rules Committee and Credentials Committee at the Democratic National Convention. She was then asked by Senator McGovem to become chair- in 1968. In 1968 Mrs. Westwood worked for Senator Robert F. Kennedy in Utah until his assassination when she switched to Hubert Humphrey, managing his presidential campaign in her home state.
