Karen Hays won the free style and finished second to Horan in the breast stroke. Connie Schrier also won three medals in the advanced class as she finished second in the liack stroke and third in Ixith the free style and breast stroke. Raclynn Gardner won a bronze medal in the liack stroke. TONY MACAW won both events, the free style and breast stroke in the boys advanced competition. He was followed in lmth events by John Sees. Ellen Rourke garnered all three gold medals in the girls open swimming competition as she won the free style, back stroke and breast stroke. Diane Norman won three silver medals as she finished second in all three events billowed by Kathy Sees in the free style and back stroke. Ted McIntosh won three medals in the open swimming for Ixiys as he won the free style and Division I of the liack stroke and finished second to Greg Young who won the underwater swim. Kevin Donnelly won a gold medal in the liack stroke. Division II and a silver in the free style. Mike Magann and Mike Donnelly each won a silver and a bronze, Magann finishing second in Division II of the liack stroke and third in the underwater while Donnelly was second in Division I of the liack stroke and third in the free style.
