Calvin L. Rampton, and many city and county officials. Boys State opens Sunday in Logan. Some 20 municipal and county officials will participate in sessions at Utah State University. Taggart will speak Sunday in the Fine Arts Theater, with election of delegates to county and state conafternoon ventions beginning at 5 p.m. Otto A. Richard Peay, Utah director of the Selective Service. Other events that day include a general election for Boys. Nation, the final Boys State examination, greetings from the American Legion and Utah Girls Auxiliary State, a program presented by Utah State Prison inmates, an open discussion on current affairs and entertainment by Boys State delegates. Graduation exercises are scheduled Saturday at 2 p.m., preceded by a 10 a.m. memorial program and athletic activities.
