"Our family is do-- e to one another," explained Anna, "and it's nice to keep the Mexican tradition." Each of her childten has married a and they raielv sene Mexican food in their own homes. TRADITIONAL FOOD "So I try to cook the traditional native food for all of them to enjoy especially the grandchildten, she said. "And the grandchildren love to come and have tortillas which pleases me!" Duiing the summer months the family often takes Grandma Cano's Mexican food to the park for outdoor eating on family night. "Everyone comes," smiled Anna, waving her arms as if to include the whole world, "even their dates when the children were courting." Anna Cano's home is built around her family. "I like a big kitchen," she explained. "V.'heiever I am working, that's where everyone is. So I have to have my big kitchen!" And truly enough, every one does fit in. There are two tables, one for the adults, another for the children, but near enough together so they can enjoy one another. And both tables are . laden on Saturday nights with Annas specialties: enchiladas, tacos, rice sopa (like Spanish rice), and Tacos, a Mexican specialty, are enjoyed by Mrs. Gary 0.
